Heather Cox

Heather Cox is a Texas-born, Arkansas-raised poet who spent most of the past decade living in Chicago. Heather is the founding editor of the online literary journal Ghost Ocean Magazine and the chapbook press Tree Light Books. Heather has two degrees in writing, has published poetry and criticism in numerous literary journals, is the recipient of a Luminarts Fellowship, has been featured in The Frank Lloyd Wright Trust’s Emerging Chicago Artists Series, and her poetry has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and Best of the Net. Heather is an avid homebrewer who’s loved rap music since she was a preteen. She lives in Colorado with her wife and their two dogs, Milo and Roscoe and is the author of three forthcoming chapbooks, Mole People (BatCat, 2016), Echolocation (Dancing Girl Press, 2016), and Magnificent Desolation (Finishing Line Press, 2016).
