The Chicago Review of Books is the official sponsor of Chicago’s most eclectic reading series, Tuesday Funk. Join us Tuesday, November 1 (and the first Tuesday of every month) in the upstairs bar at Hopleaf (5148 N Clark) in Andersonville for live literature and good beer. Click here to RSVP.

Hosted by Andrew Huff and special guest Jasmine Davila, November’s reading will feature Megan Stielstra, Coya Paz, Cesar Torres, Mary Robinette Kowal and Veronica Arreola. For more information about this month’s readers, head over to the Tuesday Funk site.

Doors open at 7pm—no earlier, please!—and the show starts at 7:30pm sharp. Admission is free, but you must be 21 or older. Come early or stay after for dinner or snacks downstairs.

Please RSVP on Facebook and bring a friend. Become a fan and you’ll never miss an invitation to one of our readings.
