The Chicago Review of Books is proud to announce the shortlist for the 2024 Chicago Review of Books (CHIRBy) Awards!
The CHIRBy Awards honor the best fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and short essays and stories that feature Chicago and our strong literary community. Eligible titles include works published between September 1, 2023 and September 1, 2024 that were either written by authors living in the Chicagoland area or titles in which Chicago plays a prominent role.
The winners in all four categories will be announced at the CHIRBy Awards! Save the date for Thursday, December 12 as we come together with StoryStudio Chicago and the brightest stars in publishing today at the Fine Arts Building to celebrate the past year in writing. Get your tickets today!
