Want To Help Edit the Chicago Review of Books?
The Chicago Review of Books is growing! We’re looking for another Chicago-based “Daily Editor” to join our team. This volunteer position (we’re all unpaid volunteers at the CHIRB) will edit one book review or author interview a week and participate in a monthly editorial meeting. Experience with editing is preferred, and a love of books is a must! We expect the role to take up about 4-5 hours/week, though it could be occasionally less or more depending on how busy we are.
The new Daily Editor will report to our Managing Editor, Todd Van Luling. The new editor would also have the freedom to publish pieces on the site and/or participate in Chicago-based literary events, if either is of interest.
If this sounds like you, send your details with “Daily Editor” in the subject line to Editor-in-Chief, Amy Brady, at editors@chireviewofbooks.com. We look forward to speaking with you!
